[Closing time! Despite the smell of delicious burgers and friend chicken still wafting in the air. The kitchen is officially closed, and it's time to clean up and count that sweet, sweet moolah. As is tradition, Violet allows Ayano and her friends to come hang out while they close up, and also help clean. Some are wiping down tables, cleaning the kitchen, or...laying down on one of the booths playing with their phones. What is everyone up to tonight?]
[Violet, Minato and Ayano just watched Jude walk across the stage, and it was really cute but to be honest, extraordinarily boring. Probably especially for Minato, who doesn't really even care, but you know, Ayano dragged him. The three sit around in the hall lobby, waiting for Jude to show up so they can congratulate him in person...And then go eat at the restaurant, or something.]
[Ayano invited everyone over to watch Backlash with her, or more accurately, to enjoy her expensive, well furnished home and its various books, game consoles, movies, and snacks. There are so many snacks. How many different kinds of doritos are there? A LOT. Her enormous, cozy basement is filled with nice carpeting, soft sofas, beanbag chairs, and at least three televisions. Regardless of what you're doing, Ayano will suddenly start screaming at some point:]
HOLY SHIT. HOLY FREAKING BALLS, YOU GUYS.
[The girl flips backwards from her beanbag chair, landing on her back where she starts flailing her feet violently, like a child having a tantrum. Okay actually, that's just what she is.]
NO NO NO. ARE YOU SERIOUS.
JINDER ARE YOU FREAKING SERIOUS!?
HE'S FREAKING UNHINDERED THIS IS BULLSHIT!!!
Lunchtime at Highschool, April 2017 (Ayano & Minato)
[They sit at their own table, separate from everyone else. Well, Minato was never particularly good at making friends, and Ayano was never particularly good at sitting still in large groups of people without making an absolute dork of herself--so it's a good arrangement. Not to mention most of her other friends have lunch in other periods anyways. Ayano yawns and folds her arms over the table, resting her head on them.]
Minatoooooo...
[She digs her nails into her thing brown hair and rubs it.]
School is so boring! I have to do another year of this, a fifth freaking year!
Gotta tell you something, bro April 2017 (Ayano and Jude)
[It's after school, and instead of walking home with Minato or meeting up at the restaurant, Ayano decided to follow Jude along to his Krav class, which she watches with enthusiasm during the times that she's not browsing Wreddit. She claps excitedly once he's done, and quickly helps him collect his things so that they can get going. Once they start heading home, she kind of looks over and pushes his shoulder a bit, trying to get his attention.]
Jude, I uh...
I got some stuff. To tell you. [Quickly shoots her hands up and waves them wildly.] Not weird stuff!!! Just like, news, stuff, interesting stuff, I guess...
[It's not too unusual for Ayano to be popping up at Velvet's place, especially conisdering Violet is kind of half-mom, half-sister. Today though, Ayano's rapping on the door is a lot louder and more frantic. She knows it's Violet's day off and doesn't want to bother her, but...]
H-Hey...It's Ayano!

The Ticket Incident of January 2017 (Jude & Minato)
[On the morning of Saturday January 29th, 2017 and both Jude and Minato would wake up to find the exact same text in their phone from one Ayano Tateyama. It reads as such:
There are three men in my life that I truly trust with every fiber of my being...Or at least there was--now, there is only two. You see, my Father has found it fit to GROUND ME for the next FOURTY EIGHT HOURS because I didn't take out the garbage last night. I swear, I was just about to, but that's the way the dice fall. Me??? Grounded??? It just doesn't make sense. He's not my Father. He's some kind of grouding ALIEN...
But I digress. Today is the day that tickets for RCPW's Winter Bashfest go on sale. I know what you're thinking. Tickets can be bought online can't they, you dumb girl. And to that, I take offense. You see, RCPW is a HOT PROMOTION. They only sell their ringside tickets at the physical box office. And I NEED ringside, you guys. I need it bad. Or I will cry. A lot. And hate life. Do you want me hating life??? No I didn't THINK so. I need both of you to go, because they only sell one ticket per person (to combat scalpers), and I need two seats. I will love you both forever if you can do this for me!!! And also maybe get along...Um!!! I've transferred the money into your bank accounts btw--thanks for giving me your bank account numbers that one time--it's really come in handy. Anyway, here's the address of the venue. You'll want to be in line around 1.PM since the box office opens around 3...
Thank you sooooo much, you two are my FAVORITE boys in the world that aren't pro wrestlers or superheroes I hope to see you soon!!!
Love, Ayano <3
So, the two boys must meet up in front of the venue and wait in line for Ayano's precious tickets. It's a cold day and an even colder relationship. How will they cope???]

Re: Party at Ayano's: Backlash Edition (Open to All)
[Violet is interrupted from the peace of reading The Barley Outfielder by the sound of Ayano throwing a tantrum at her feet. She leans over Ayano with a sullen look on her face.]
And just who exactly taught you to use language like that? I don't think it was your parents, and it definitely wasn't me.
[Violet was in the zone, in the middle of making the filling for a nice custard pie she was going to prepare for the market later in the week. Milk, salt, vanilla, and a delicate mix of nutmeg, cinnamon, and butter. She was just about to crack the first egg when a frantic knock at the door snaps her back into reality and causes her to crush the egg in her hand. With a sigh, she goes to the sink to wash her hands]
Coming!
[She dries her hands off and opens the door, granting a reprieve from the knocking]
It's you, Ayano? My word, I thought you were going to take the whole house down! Is everything okay?
[The walk was a quiet one as Jude settled into the usual rhythm he shared with Ayano. He became contemplative, taking it for a blessing that he and Ayano could inhabit each other's space without needing to fill the air with idle chatter. Of course, Ayano was talkative enough for the both of them, so it was not something Jude had ever needed to worry about when hanging out with his best friend.
He was lost for the moment, staring off somewhere ahead of them as they walked, only noticing Ayano once she touched his shoulder.]
Huh?
[He looks at her, brows raised quizzically. He wasn't used to Ayano being a bit tongue-tied. Heck, he was wondering why she hadn't just blurted out the news already.]
Interesting as in...? [He circles his hands in front of him, waiting for her to continue.]

Re: Party at Ayano's: Backlash Edition (Open to All)
[Jude nods along, waiting for Ayano to get to the climax of what she was trying to say. When she got to vomiting out her words, Jude actually stops in his tracks to process this info.]
So, you're...
[Oh. Uh. What?]
Jeez. [Jude sighs and resumes walking, unashamedly looking disappointed. He isn't immediately upset or anything, but he did feel bad about it. Certainly there was something he could have done?]
Did something happen? Are you okay? [Because his first thought is that obviously something went really wrong.] Maybe we can turn this around... Can we appeal to someone?
[The last thing Jude needed was a family member thinking he was like this by association.]
I haven't watched this stuff in ages. [Which meant that Ayano was really the only here watching it at all, which kind of made the party a bit awkward when Jude thought about it.]
[Jude knew that Ayano was keenly aware that a text of that length would end up as a five-part epic that alerted his phone back-to-back. He had a feeling she sent wordy texts on purpose just to ensure she got his attention. He didn't bother texting back until he was just out the door, where he sent:
I'm on it!!
... He knew this was important to her, so he wanted to appear excited.
It wasn't until Jude actually shows up to the venue that he thinks about who the other mentioned boy is. It had to be... what is his name? Minato? Up to this point, he and Jude have never really had a chance to meet, no matter how much Ayano had said she wanted them to. With that in mind, Jude has a good idea that is going to be...]
Oh. Hi.
[... Awkward.
Jude raises a hand to Minato in greeting and gestures for him to join Jude in line. He at least knows what the other boy looks like.]
So, uh... Any bets on whether or not she's actually been grounded?
[Violet embraces Ayano, noting that sometimes she doesn't seem to realize her own strength. While not quite strong enough to be considered a bear hug, Ayano was definitely not the waifish little girl she spent evenings baking cookies and reading bedtime stories to anymore. Now she was a young lady... who Violet spends evenings baking cookies and reading bedtime stories to.]
Aww, Nono... of course, we can make whatever you want.
[She looks down and gives Ayano a light poke on the forehead.]
But you know the drill. First you have to tell me what's wrong. Come on inside and tell Aunt Vivi all about it.
[After recovering from his momentary blindness and lowering the brightness on his phone, Minato glanced hazily at the message Ayano had left him. At the early crack of noon, he was just waking up.]
...
[He scanned each line, occasionally letting out an exasperated sigh at the familiarity of everything described by his friend.]
Sigh... not only getting me out the door first thing in the morning--
[Minato didn't think twice about having referred to noon as "first thing in the morning". He continued to mutter to himself as he forcibly dragged himself out of bed and began getting ready.]
--but even asking me to hang out, alone, with who I can only assume to be Jude... sigh...
[Continuing to dress and prepare himself, Minato had a flurry of thoughts. To think through every possible action and every possible outcome of a given situation was typical for him; he never acted impulsively.]
Can I just not go...? I'm not much for spending personal time with people I only know by proxy... No, Ayano specifically asked me to do this favor for her... I owe her a lot... Do I even have the money for this...? Oh, that's right, she said she took care of that... but... I don't remember giving her access to my bank account...
[By the time he had finished hashing out every variable in his head, it was just after 12:30, and he was dressed, prepared, and completely ready to tackle the day. Well, as ready as Minato ever is. He made his way to his destination.
Seemingly as soon as he reaches the wrestling... place... he's immediately greeted by a stranger. As the other boy raises his hand in Minato's direction, the pieces begin reassembling in his head. This is Jude, he remembers seeing some pictures of him from Ayano.]
Hey.
[Minato gave a lackadaisical hand raise back.]
Whether or not she's been grounded...? Huh... it hadn't even crossed my mind that she could've been making it up...
[Something else suddenly crossed Minato's mind.]
In fact... why does she need two tickets?
[This all felt a little too convenient. Need 2 tickets, have to be bought in person, only 2 people she can trust... was this just a ploy to get the two of them to hang out?]
My parents already tried that, ehehehe...They tried a lot of things...[Still smiling!!! Just trying to make this as easy as possible.]
Sooo...You know how I had mono and missed a few weeks of school?
And my grades dropped...Well, okay, they weren't exactly the best in the first place, ehehe...
Um.
So.
It's mathematically impossible for me to pass with enough credit to graduate?
I messed up a bit, oops...[She's definitely ashamed but is gutting through it as best she can. It's not a big deal, right? It's not her fault...probably.]
You what?! That can't be right! [Violet sits down and offers a seat to Ayano, a curious mixture of frustration and disappointment on her face... but not because of Ayano.]
Your grades were fine before you got sick, right? And they're just going to hold you back?! They won't even offer for you to make it up over the summer so you can at least walk with everyone?
